Oats & Ragi Pakoda!!!

Yummy Pakodas with a healthy twist of ragi & oats!!!

Ingredients:

Ragi flour - 1 tbsp
Rice flour - 1tbsp
Oats - 1cup (soaked in a little bit of warm water)
Onion, finely sliced - 1 big
Pudina leaves - a handful
Curry leaves - a handful
Green chillies - 3
Red chilli pwd - 2 tsps
Baking soda - a pinch
Dry mango pwd - 2 tsps
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:

Sieve together ragi flour, rice flour, red chilli pwd, dry mango pwd, baking soda & salt. In a bowl mix rest of the ingredients along with the sieved dry ingredients too. Add just a little bit of water to mix as the onions would also leave its water & the batter might become too thin. After mixing the Pakoda batter keep in the fridge for 15 mins so the Pakodas would be crispy. Deep fry by dropping spoonful of the batter into the hot oil.

Serve hot along tomato ketchup or green chutney.
