Instant Paddu!!!

I love these little paddus a lot.. They can become your morning breakfast or a rainy evening snack too... Served hot with coconut chutney the result would be amazing.. This version of the Paddu is an instant one when compared to the time consuming procedure of the traditional one...

Ingredients:

Chiroti Rava - 3 tbsp
Puffed Rice - 3 tbsp
Curd - 3 tbsp
Green chilli paste - 1/2 top
Fresh coriander - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Curry leaves - 1 strand
Ginger - 1 inch (finely chopped)
Carrot - 1 medium (grated)
Onion - 1 medium (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method:

Soak the Chiroti Rava in curd for 10 mins. Wash the puffed Rice in water & make a paste of it in a mixie jar. Add the Chiroti Rava & curd mixture to the same jar & ground to a smooth batter.  Pour this batter to a bowl & add all the ingredients except oil & mix well.

Heat the Paddu pan with a little bit of oil & then pour the batter into the holes, cover & cook both the sides until golden brown. Add little bit of oil in between if needed.

Serve hot with coconut chutney.
