Ingredients:
Green Chilies - 8 (slit in the middle & deseeded)
Coriander seeds - 2 tsps
Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Groundnuts - 2 tsps
salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsps
Curd - 2 tbsps
Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 medium
Fresh coconut - 2 tbsps
Tamarind extract - 2 tsps
Fresh coriander - 1tbsp
Method:
Dry roast coriander seeds, Jeera, Sesame seeds & Groundnuts & let it cool. In the same pan add 2 tsps of oil & fry the onion & fresh coconut separately. Ground all the above roasted & fried ingredients together to a fine paste. Saute the green chillies with oil & keep aside. In the same pan add the grou
nd masala & fry a min or 2, then add ginger-garlic paste, tamarind extract & fry for a min. Add curd, salt & a bit of water & bring it to a boil. Now add the fried green chillies & cook for 2 mins, remove from heat & garnish with fresh coriander.
