One of the easy ways to have the kids eat up their greens without complaining...
Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 2 cups Spinach/Palak - 2 bunches Salt to taste Oil for frying Green Chilli - 2
Method:
Blanch the palak & green chillies together in boiling water for 2-3 mins & allow it to cool. Now make a puree of the blanched palak & green chillies & add it to the wheat flour & salt & mix in to form a smooth dough. Let it rest for 15 mins.
Keep oil in a pan for heating & in the meantime make small lemon sized balls of the dough & roll it out flat with the help of a rolling pin. Deep fry the puris until its puffed & golden brown.
Serve hot with vegetable sagu!!
