Ragi Sari!!! (as prescribed by a pediatrician)

A rich wholesome food to start with for infants when you are about to introduce solids... This recipe was prescribed by my daughter's Pediatrician himself & my little gal of 8 months just loves the taste of it....
Ingredients:
Ragi/Finger Millet - 1 cup
Godhi/Wheat - 1/2 cup
Akki/Rice - 1/2 cup
Thogari Bele/Toovar Dal - 1/4 cup
Hesaru Bele/Green gram Dal - 1/4 cup
Kadale Bele/Split Chickpea/Channa Dal - 1/4 cup
Kadalekayi beeja/Groundnuts - 10
Method:
Soak Ragi, Godhi & Akki together in water overnight & wash it properly thrice to remove any impurities. Drain the water & spread it out on a clean cotton cloth for drying. Once it dries fry all the ingredients together for a few mins until the aroma spreads all over & it turns golden brown. Remove from heat & let it cool.
Grind the fried ingredients in a mixie jar to a fine powder & sieve it through a muslin cloth to get a fine powder (which is actually the most difficult part of this recipe, when the baby gets older you could sieve it in a normal flour siever itself). This is done so that the baby doesn't choke as the texture would be a bit coarse if done through a normal flour siever. Store this in an air tight container & use as required.
Preparing the actual Ragi Sari to feed the baby:
While feeding this for the first time to your baby just take half a spoon of this Ragi mixture in a bowl, add 2-3 tbsps of water (either hot or cold) & mix well so that there is no lumps.  Put this on a low flame & keep stirring continuously until the mixture starts getting thick like a sauce.  At this point add a tsp of Ghee & mix well. Then add 2-3 tbsps of milk & stir continuously to the desired consistency.  Add in either sugar/kallusakkare pwd/jaggery to this & feed the baby.
Make it a little watery initially & after a week or two start making it a bit thicker so that the baby starts getting used to different textures of food & would be motivated to chew!!!
