Yummy, filling & yet low calorie dish... This one is a regular in my home... You can serve it just as a salad alone or top it on some deep fried papads or sprinkle on some deep fried raw banana/chilli/capsicum bhajjis along with some chat masala & red chilli pwd.. The end result would be finger & plate licking good!!!
Ingredients:
Sprouts - 1 cup (either mixed or just moong & Channa would do) Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
Carrot - 1 medium, grated
Green chillies - 2 finely chopped
Fresh coconut gratings - 2 tbsps
Lemon juice - 2 tbsps
Fresh coriander - 2 tbsps, finely chopped
salt to taste
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients together & serve.
Note: You can add in a tadka if u like by heating a tbsp of oil, add mustard, urad dal, green chillies & curry leaves & fry until the urad dal is golden brown. Add this to the salad & give it a final toss & serve.
