One of the famous & favorite snacks among most of the Bangaloreans & Mysoreans!!!
Ingredients:
Chiroti Rava - 1/2 kg
Rice Flour - 150 gms
Maida - 150 gms
Fresh Coconut gratings - 1 cup
Onions chopped - 1/4 kg
Green Chillies (chopped) - 10
Fresh Coriander(chopped) -handful
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Ginger (chopped) - 1 inch
Ghee - 2 tbsps
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
Fry the chiroti rava for a few mins & add the rest of the ingredients except oil & mix well. Heat oil in a pan, take a small ball of the mixed vada mixture & flatten with your hands on plastic sheet or a raw plaintain leaf & put it in oil to deep fry.
Serve hot along with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup.
